A Foundation for Lifelong Learning

Why Parents Choose Our Primary Program

Our early childhood program encourages increased independence and gives children the tools to care for and respect themselves and their environment.

Around three years of age, children benefit from an environment that nurtures their growing independence, curiosity, concentration, and desire to explore the world around them.

Within this environment, children develop self-discipline, responsibility, a sense of personal identity, and an understanding of the world. Children find joy in meaningful work.

Child-Centered Learning

Children don't all learn in the same way or at the same pace. Our educators observe each child closely and provide guidance based on their individual interests, abilities, and readiness.

Rather than asking every child to follow the same path, Montessori gives children opportunities to engage with work that is meaningful to them while educators support their continued growth...

Mixed-Age Community

Our Primary classrooms bring children together across the 3–6 age range, creating a community where children can learn with and from one another.

Younger children have opportunities to observe and learn from older classmates, while older children strengthen their understanding and confidence as they become role models within the community.

This is a stronger fit for the Montessori approach than the template's generic language.

Choice & Independence

Montessori gives children meaningful opportunities to make choices, care for their environment, and take responsibility for their work.

With guidance and freedom within appropriate limits, children learn to plan their activities, practice new skills, solve problems, and experience the confidence that comes from doing things for themselves.

Hands-On Materials

Montessori materials give children concrete ways to explore ideas, practice skills, and make connections.

Through purposeful work across areas such as Practical Life, Sensorial, Math, Language, and Cultural Studies, children develop concentration, coordination, problem-solving skills, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

A Classroom Built for Independence

Our Primary environment is thoughtfully prepared with child-sized furniture, accessible materials, and inviting spaces that encourage children to choose, explore, concentrate, and work independently.
