SUMMER PROGRAM 

Start your Montessori journey this summer!

For the summer of 2026 Parkview will have limited summer programming serving ages 3 months and older. The summer program is reserved for families who are enrolled in 2025-2026 school year or the 2026-2027 school year.  The camp supports our families with year-round programming, and covers all ten weeks of summer. The program is dedicated to Montessori experience and will help our students and families learn the Montessori Method and meet our staff!  We are excited to meet you for summer and start our learning journey together!

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The summer program creates an environment for the students to learn and to get immersed in the Montessori environment. Children get accustomed to grace & courtesy and practical life, which are the cornerstone of the Montessori Method. The morning uninterrupted work cycle will start at 9:00 AM and continue until 11:30 AM.

The uninterrupted work cycle is fundamental to the Montessori approach, which recognizes and respects individual variations in the learning process. Within the Montessori environment, the children need to have time to work through various tasks and responsibilities at their own pace. This work period is vitally important, as that is when the building of coordination, concentration, independence, order, and assimilation of information are able to occur.

Students will take advantage of the summer light in the afternoon, and they will enjoy body movements, art work, and other meaningful activities to enrich their learning.

The summer program is designed for students enrolled now or stating their Montessori journey at the start of the next school year, September 2026.
